Del Shores' Master Class for Actors

Saturdays

10:00 am Pacific

Sundays

10:00 am Pacific

Once you are enrolled, you have a permanent spot.  There are no “roll-overs” in tuition, but you will always get the recorded class AND you may make up any scene you missed as time permits.

Classes will be between 3 and 4 hours and limited to 12 actors.

If you must miss an entire 4 –week session, take a leave of absence, and you may keep your spot.  You will pay for that session to keep your spot and allow me to scholarship a worthy replacement when you are gone.  You spot will be secure and you can give back this way.  You will also still get the recorded classes.

If you ever want to give up your spot to please give Del at least 2 weeks notice so he can replace you in the next session.  And if you want to come back, you will always be top priority on the waiting list.

The tuition will continue to be $100 per month.  You may pay monthly or weekly.  Mat Hayes will handle tuition.

Classes will be 4 times a month.  If there are five Saturdays or Sundays in a month, you will get a week off from classes.

CURRICULUM:  Each week, you will work with a new partner.  I will choose your partners at the beginning of each 4-week session. The 4th week of each session will be for “do-overs”.  If you do not have a “do-over”, you get to pick your scene partner and a new scene for that final week.

This master class will continue to be by invitation only, but you may always recommend someone when spots are available.

Mat Hayes' Beginners/Intermediate Class for Actors

Wednesdays

4:00 pm Pacific

As we all adjust to a new way of teaching and learning, TDSS decided to launch several on-going acting/writing classes for the next few months.  Mat Hayes, an amazing actor/director/acting coach, who has been a part of the Del Shores team for several years, has been brought on to teach an Intermediate/Beginning Acting Class, with the goal for actors to be able to “graduate” into one of Del Shores' Master Acting Classes.

This class is perfect for those who are just starting their acting journey.  It is also perfect for intermediate levels, those returning to acting after a hiatus --  those who need more training, technique, more confidence and more direction.  Mat will work with you in this safe acting environment and will recommend transfers into Del Shores' Master Classes when you are ready. This is your time to LEARN and GROW!

Classes will be between 3 and 4 hours and limited to 10 writers.

If you must miss an entire 4 –week session, you may take a leave of absence and keep your spot by paying for that session and allow me (or you) to scholarship a worthy replacement when you are gone.  Your spot will be secure and you can give back this way.  You will also still get the recorded classes.

I ask that if you ever want to give up your spot to please give me at least 2 weeks notice so I can replace you in the next session.  And if you want to come back, you will always be top priority on the waiting list.

The tuition will continue to be $100 per month.  You may pay monthly or weekly.  Mat Hayes will handle tuition.

Classes will usually be 4 times a month (there is an exception in the schedule above – 5 in August, 3 in September because of Labor Day -- but the average is 4 per month.)  If there are five Mondays in a month, we will get a week off from classes.

CURRICULUM:  Each writer may bring in up to 10 minutes of material weekly (more if there is time) and have it read by fellow writers or actors you bring in.  You can always just listen and learn if you have no material to present.  We will also have a discussion to start each class and you may pitch any ideas to the class during this time.  The class will be flexible and continue to evolve.
